So sad
Jenny (the world's most amazing nanny) is going to be moving away, probably by the end of June. It's not totally unexpected, but it's so, so sad, because she is really great. Ethan loves her, and loves playing with Sarah, her 4-year-old daughter. They do so many things. Did I write about the time she made soy milk with them (from soybeans), and then made "soysauge" from the curds? It was quite delicious. Not only does she make soysauge and things like that, but she also empties our compost and washes the dishes while the kids nap after lunch. Above and beyond the call of duty, if you ask me. But I do appreciate it.
There's another funny computer skill I haven't mentioned either: if Ethan's playing on his laptop and he can't get to his websites, he'll hover the cursor over the right little icon on the taskbar, check the IP address, and if it's all 0's, he'll call out, "Mama! I need an address!"
It's cute.
