Big brother

Last night we were all watching The Sound of Music, Ethan next to me, and Linna lying next to him, all swaddled and asleep. Partway through the movie, Ethan reached over with both hands, as if to pick her up. I asked if he wanted to hold her, and he said yes, so I put a pillow on his lap and put her on it. It was so cute. He kept glancing down at her, and then he took one hand and gently put it on her head.

He didn't hold her long - maybe 5 minutes, and then he said he was all done.

Linna Rose is home!

Just a quick note here in Ethan's blog -- his little sister is home! She was born January 13, 2006, at 34 weeks. She was 5 pounds 15 ounces, 18.5 inches long. Full story coming later. We got to bring her home yesterday after 9 days in the NICU and she's doing great. It's so nice to finally have her here with us.
