Also...
Cynthia graciously fed us dinner when we went over there. Georgia and Ethan used to spend some time together when I was down a lot when Mom was sick, but they hadn't seen each other for over a year, and took a little while to warm up. The kids sat at a small table near the grownup table, and Georgia said to Ethan, "I'm older than you." To which Ethan replied, "I'm bigger than you." Both true. That established, they got on pretty well and had fun playing together. I love Georgia's baby book with photos that Julie made for her, and am inspired to do something similar for both Ethan and Linna. When I have time, which will be in approximately 10 years. By then they'll probably find the whole idea of their births too gross for words.

Ethan's joke
The drive down to California was too long for Ethan. After about 3 hours, he started saying, "This is too long. I want to go home." Of course, it had something to do with the fact that home has Katamari Damcy, Ethan's favorite (and only) PlayStation game.
Anyway, to keep him occupied we played 20 questions. Jeff was thinking of a starfish, which we got after a long time. The last set of questions we asked had to do with determining how many legs the thing had, and Jeff said it could sometimes have 6 legs instead of 5.
Ethan said, "A starfish with 6 legs is a starfish of David!"
We thought that was hilarious and also quite clever, so he said it over and over again, "A starfish of David!"
