Books

Ethan's crazy for Magic Tree House books. I think I mentioned it before - he got a few as hand-me-downs from Tonia next door, and ever since then, he's been devouring them at an alarming rate. Jeff got some more at Costco, and then he's been getting them from the library regularly. Now he's read all but 3 of the 37 that are currently out - he'll have to wait for more! They're fun books - I've enjoyed the few that I've read. Mostly, he just sits down with them as soon as he gets them and plows through them.

Good trip

Ethan and Jeff had a good time in Montana (with brief stops at the Utah and Idaho airports, where Ethan acquired a shirt at each). Ethan spent one night at Baba and Grandmalyn's without Jeff, and he was totally fine, apparently. I called every evening, but mostly he was too busy to talk because he was plowing through one of his books.

They visited a hot spring, went to Yellowstone, and saw lots of birds.
