5 years old!
Ethan's 5 today! It's pretty amazing. I haven't made an entry in a long time, so there's probably lots to say, but this is just a quick note. He's been playing a lot with Linna and Mika, who's here for a visit. Kindergarten starts in just a few weeks - I'm glad he's staying at Harmony. He loves to jump right now - he always jumps off the last few steps of anywhere. He's a fantastic dancer, and he loves music. Dad and Martha gave him a kalimba for his birthday, which he likes. As soon as he started playing it, Linna started dancing, stomping her feet back and forth. Also, he plays a cute game with Linna right now, in which they take turns naming the parts of their faces.
We had a good time in California. I traveled down with the two kids, by myself, and it was fine. Ethan had his own suitcase, which he packed days in advance. We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and had fun with Nicholas and Ginger. And lots of time with Dylan as well.
