Social butterfly
Linna's had lots of friends to play with lately. Most recently, Mika was here for a visit (with Ann and Zack in tow, of course), and she and Linna had a grand time. They really loved playing together, although Mika was so entranced that she sometimes followed Linna around trying to hug her, which Linna didn't like. But mostly, they had a lot of fun. Before that, we had a vacation in California, and Linna got to play with both Ginger and Dylan. While we were gone (Jeff and Ethan returned home 5 days earlier than Linna and I, who had to stay for some work training), Linna learned new words. We're to the point where she's learning new words almost every day, but she still is extremely partial to the beginnings of words only, so sometimes she's hard to understand. Still, she makes her wishes known. She learned "uh-oh" from Mika, and "bubble" from Adrian. She calls her Raggedy Andy doll "baby" - I think I've mentioned that before. But her pronunciation is quite French, more like "bebe." Once in a while I've heard her call him "ragbebe," which I find adorable. Unfortunately, as she's gotten more attached to Ragbaby, Ethan has also. I really need to get her a Raggedy Ann so he can have the Andy.
