Linna-isms
A few days ago I realized that Linna now says "bluebehwies" instead of "bluebleeblees." It gave me a twinge of nostalgia. I'm sure "ibee" will be next to go. She also says "open adit" instead of "open it" and "batanana" for banana.
I still remember how cute we thought it was when Ethan called an umbrella an "umuhba." And part of my family's lore is that Erika used to call an umbrella and "umblum," which is also cute. Of course, Ethan is still cute even though he says umbrella now, and come to think of it, Erika's still cute too. And Linna is almost unbearably adorable. She insisted on a bath last night, since she had such fun a few days ago when she and I took a bath together with the green dopey-dope (soap), in an attempt to calm her down (it worked). So she's swimming around in the bath, lying down and swishing her hair, singing the ABC song - she kind of makes her voice fake-low when she gets to h, I don't know why - and looking up at us. Jeff and I both just watched her for a while. She's just charming.
Jeff was gone for three days this week, and on the second day, she was talking to him on the phone and suddenly said, "I MISS you, Daddy."
