Valentines
Linna loved making valentines. It was very little effort for her to churn out 30 of them for her class and teachers. (Although I will be sneaking in a few of the ones that she made for me, because there were a lot of them.) First she put together these butterfly stickers I got as part of the favors for Ethan's birthday - foam butterflies with heart-shaped sparkly stickers. She quickly figured out the best way for them to go. And - it turns out she can write part of her name! Who knew? On the backs of those she wrote "LI" very clearly.
Then she made a bunch just like Ethan's - I cut little hearts out of various scrapbooking papers, and they glued them onto square cardstock. I think while they were working on the valentines, Ethan showed her how to write more of her name. On one she wrote "Limm" and on another, "Lnna." The many valentines for me are covered with extra M's for mama. She also drew a birdie on one. The one she made for Jeff has a picture of him on it. He looks a little sad.
