	I found a few interesting Tingey tidbits on the web. I discovered that my mother, Barbara Tingey, is actually a plant. Other famous Tingey objects include Tingey House and the Tingey soil series.
	The Elusive Barbara Tingey
		After hearing of the O. Barbara Tingey, we decided to try and find out more about this plant. Our first inquiries, to Australia, yielded only a suggestion to direct our questions to somewhere in England. We got this result via email:
		Unfortunately we lost our stock of Barbara Tingey during the last very wet winter. It would be worth trying Hopleys Nursery of Much Haddem in Hertfordshire. Tel 01279 842509 who also do mail order. There is also a variety called Frank Tingey.
	September. Barbara Tingey herself noticed a captioned magazine picture of O. Barbara Tingey on someone's porch. So all is not lost.
	November. I finally managed to locate Barbara Tingey in Connecticut, and I purchased several to be delivered.
	December. Three Barbara Tingeys have arrived! Sadly, and perhaps predictably, the tag says "O. Barbara Tingley."
